FR 206: (Dashboard) Provide option to set a structure or Quality BP as default

This allows you to set a given structure or quality practice as default, meaning any new document sets will automatically acquire that practice as it’s default.

Whilst VisibleThread ships with a number of good defaults, many organisations will customize them or have their own sets. Pick the most suitable default for your organization rather than blindly accepting the default practices that ship with VisibleThread.

FR 288: (Dashboard) Support Quality review session & ‘white lists’

This provides an ability to review the reported quality issues in the document.

Start the review process by clicking the ‘Start Review’ button in the quality grid. Once you do so, the screen enters review mode whereupon the remainder of the dashboard is masked and you interact only with the review grid.

You can make items as benign (i.e. white list them). Additionally, at end of a review session you are prompted to log a comment, white lists are maintained at the project level and change history reflects review sessions.

FR 443: (Dashboard) Provide ability to re-associate BPs from Usage Matrix

The usage matrix provides a central point where you can associate or disassociate Best Practices. To associate one or more Best Practices, select the specific row or rows in the grid that contain the document you are interested in, and click the ‘Associate’ button. You are then prompted to select the particular Best Practice to be used.

Disassociating is the reverse of this and applies to documents, where you have previously made associations at the document level. Once you disassociate a document it then assumes the Best Practice that is set for the containing document set.
