2 What's New

FR 503: Provide Structure View for Discovery at doc set and doc level

The Discovery view contains a new pane displaying the specific headings where checked terms occur. This cross-cutting into structure allows for more informed prioritisation of issues and better gap analysis.

FR 535: Performance - Implement client side jsp response caching

General performance enhancements have been added focused on javascript caching. This makes loading and displaying of data faster throughout the dashboard.

FR 538: Introduce 'Core Concepts' notion at Doc Set Level

‘Core concepts’ is a new capability allowing the tracking of particular items within one or more docs. For instance, certain terms/phrases may be mandated to exist within a certain project. The core concept capability allows you explicitly track these concepts.

FR 588: Ignore Hidden Text for quality & structural analysis

Hidden text is often used to provide instructional guidance in documents making it inappropriate to analyze for quality aspects. This is now not considered as part of the quality or structural analysis statistics.

FR 592: Ignore headings for quality analysis

Headings can frequently contain ‘?’ and other quality risk indicators. It is however inappropriate to consider headings in the same way as non heading text. Headings are therefore omitted from quality analysis.

FR 617: Provide Structure View for Quality at doc level

The Quality view contains a new pane displaying the specific headings where checked terms occur. This cross-cutting into structure allows for more informed prioritisation of quality issues. For instance, occurrences of poor quality language contained in an introductory section will likely have less associated risk than poor quality foundin the detailed requirements section.

FR 650: Put 120 minute expiry on cookie for dashboard sign-in

An expiry period is now set for sessions. If a user has been inactive for more than 120 minutes they are automatically signed out. This security oriented enhancement supports best practice in terms of web session policies.
