GWAC (Governmentwide Acquisition Contract)

A multiple-award IDIQ for IT solutions used across the federal government.
Published

A Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a multiple-award IDIQ available to all federal agencies for IT products and
services. Examples include CIO-SP, SEWP, and Alliant. GWACs standardize terms and accelerate procurement of complex IT solutions.
For vendors, gaining a seat on a GWAC provides access to substantial pipelines but requires active task-order capture, partner
enablement, and performance. Agencies value GWACs for speed, competition among pre-qualified vendors, and oversight mechanisms.
Marketing to ordering agencies and primes is essential to realize the potential of a GWAC award.
