What’s New in VisibleThread 7.3

In this session, we’re taking a hands-on look at what’s shipping in 7.3. This release is a big step toward connected team workflows: assigning ownership of opportunities, proposals, and contracts, setting up and assigning tasks, and putting quality gates in place so nothing moves to the next stage before it’s ready. We’ll also walk through a full set of new dashboards.

Up to now, a lot of VisibleThread’s value has come from what one person can do inside a single opportunity, proposal, or contract. With 7.3, we’re starting to connect those workflows across the whole team: assigning ownership, setting up and assigning tasks, seeing where things stand with Kanban and timeline views, and putting quality gates in place at each stage transition. Alongside that, leadership and CS teams get much better visibility with a new suite of dashboards.

We’ll walk through each of these live, show you what’s coming, and leave plenty of time for your questions.

What You Will Learn: 

• Ownership, front and center. Opportunities, proposals, and contracts now support ownership assignment, so it’s always clear who’s accountable for what.
• Real task management. Teams can set up and assign tasks directly against opportunities, proposals, and contracts, including assigning specific proposal sections, turning VisibleThread into a place where work actually gets tracked, not just analyzed.
• Quality gates at every stage. New stage-transition tasks and quality gates mean opportunities, proposals, and contracts can’t quietly slip into the next phase before the right checks are done.
• Status visible at a glance. New Kanban and timeline views for tracked opportunities and proposals show where everything stands without digging into individual records, and threaded comments with in-product notifications keep the whole team in the loop.
• New dashboards for visibility. Leadership and CS teams get a real answer to “what’s happening in the platform” with new dashboards, plus a Workspace Usage Stats dashboard and user activity tracking, built specifically to show how teams are engaging and where the value is showing up.

Also in this release. A first version of our API/MCP server opens the platform up for future integrations, a quick search bar is now available across all list views, proposal outline generation has been improved, SAM.gov notifications now alert you when a tracked opportunity has changed, and Word Add-in V2 and PowerPoint generation round out the release.
