Amendment

An official change to a solicitation issued after release to correct errors, revise requirements, or extend deadlines, which bidders must acknowledge.

An official modification issued by a contracting authority after a solicitation has been released to correct errors, clarify requirements, respond to supplier questions, revise evaluation criteria, extend submission deadlines, or make other changes to the procurement. Amendments become part of the solicitation and may affect the scope, pricing, technical approach, or proposal preparation requirements. Offerors are generally required to acknowledge receipt of each amendment and incorporate any resulting changes into their proposals to ensure they remain responsive and eligible for evaluation.
