Court of Federal Claims (COFC)

A US federal court hearing bid protests and monetary contract claims against the Government, though filing there does not automatically stay award.

A federal court with jurisdiction to hear bid protests and monetary claims arising from contracts with the United States Government. In procurement matters, the COFC may grant declaratory and injunctive relief, as well as other appropriate remedies. Unlike a GAO Protest, filing a protest at the COFC does not automatically stay contract award or performance.
