Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)

A multiple-award IDIQ contract established by one agency for all federal agencies to acquire IT products and services.

A multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract established by a federal agency and authorized for use by all U.S. federal agencies to acquire information technology (IT) products and services. Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) provide agencies with pre-competed contract vehicles that streamline procurement, reduce acquisition lead times, and provide access to qualified technology vendors. GWACs support a broad range of IT requirements, including software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, systems integration, and professional services. Most GWACs are administered by the General Services Administration (GSA) or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) under statutory authority.
