An optional notice published under the UK Procurement Act 2023 to give advance notice of an intended competitive procurement before the tender notice is issued. Publishing a Planned Procurement Notice may allow the contracting authority to shorten the minimum tendering period, provided the statutory timing requirements are met. It replaces the Prior Information Notice (PIN) used for this purpose under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015).
