Solution Tollgate

A governance milestone confirming the proposed solution is approved to proceed into full proposal development.

A governance milestone in the bid or capture process at which the proposed solution is considered sufficiently defined and approved to proceed into full proposal development. Following the Solution Tollgate, significant changes to the solution are normally discouraged because they may affect pricing, delivery, and proposal production.
