An arrangement in which two or more organisations collaborate to pursue a contract opportunity by combining their capabilities, experience, or resources. Teaming commonly involves a prospective prime contractor partnering with one or more subcontractors under a teaming agreement, although it may also include joint ventures or mentor-protégé relationships where permitted. Effective teaming enables organisations to strengthen technical capability, satisfy customer requirements, improve competitiveness, and address contract eligibility criteria such as small business participation. Proposal teams should establish roles, responsibilities, workshare, and pricing arrangements early in the pursuit to ensure a coordinated and compliant bid.
