A proposal team member responsible for planning, developing, and delivering a specific proposal volume, such as the technical, management, past performance, or cost volume. The Volume Lead is accountable for the volume’s content, compliance, quality, and on-time completion, coordinating the work of writers, subject matter experts (SMEs), reviewers, and other contributors. Working closely with the Proposal Manager, the Volume Lead manages assignments, resolves issues, tracks progress through proposal reviews, and ensures the final volume meets solicitation requirements and integrates effectively with the overall proposal.
