A schedule issued by the U.S. Department of Labor that establishes the minimum wages and fringe benefits contractors must pay employees performing work on certain federal contracts. A Wage Determination (WD) specifies required pay rates based on the contract’s location and applicable labor classifications. Wage determinations are incorporated into covered contracts under laws such as the Davis-Bacon Act for construction contracts and the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) for service contracts. Contractors are responsible for complying with the applicable wage determination throughout contract performance.
