The aim of the 2021 readability scorecard was to compare the readability of documents produced by agencies of the Australian public service. Ethos CRS used VisibleThread’s Language Analysis Platform to score for grade level, percentage of long sentences and passive voice. Based on these metrics they calculated a readability index.
