A Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ) is a survey completed by a prior customer to validate an offeror’s performance on similar
work. Solicitations sometimes require PPQs in addition to or instead of CPARS entries. PPQs typically rate quality, schedule
adherence, cost control, and business relations, and may include narrative comments. Offerors should request PPQs early, provide
clear instructions, and follow up professionally to ensure timely submission by the due date. Consistency between PPQs, CPARS,
and proposal claims strengthens credibility in evaluation.
