A key performance indicator (KPI) measuring the proportion of bids or opportunities that result in a contract award. Success Rate is typically calculated as the number of contracts won divided by the number of completed bids or opportunities. It is often used interchangeably with Win Rate or Hit Rate, although some organisations distinguish between these metrics depending on the stage of the sales or bid pipeline being measured.
